​​​​What happens in further treatments?

1.   Quick update on your status and reason for visit


 2.  Ongoing concent is assumed.


3.  Your therapist will leave treatment room to wash hands while you undress and get onto table under sheet and blanket.


4.  Therapist will knock and get permission to  re-enter room, then treatment will continue.

5. You always have the right to stop or alter a treatment or treatment plan.


Your comfort and privacy are always respected and the therapist will always strive to create a safe atmosphere.

​​​​What happens in the first treatment?

1.   On your first visit,  you will be asked to complete a health history / intake form .   (or if you booked online, you may have completed your intake form already)


This information, as well as any conversation between you and your therapist, will remain completely confidential.

 2.  You will discuss your health history and reason for your visit.


It is vital for the therapist to have a thorough understanding of your health history and your goals of treatment, to be able to develop a safe and effective treatment and assessment plan.

3.  When necessary assessments may be performed.


They include special tests that can suggest what type of structure is involved; muscle, ligament, joint, nerve etc.

4.   Your therapist will ask for your informed consent .  (further treatments will assume ongoing consent)


 Consent for treatment involves discussion of your goals of treatment, alternative treatment option, possible responses to treatment and what to expect in the treatment including positioning, draping, level of disrobing, areas to be treated and you will be given the opportunity to ask questions.
